What we do

Technical remediation of Shopify theme code (.liquid, HTML, CSS, ARIA and JavaScript) to address the barriers cited in an ADA Title III website complaint, or proactively before one is filed. Pure technical engineering. Never legal advice.

ADA Store Fix is an engineering remediation service, not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice or legal representation, and we do not promise any legal outcome. We work alongside your qualified defense counsel.

Pricing

Standard theme fix

$1,250 fixed

Fixed price for a standard Shopify theme, paid in full upfront. Complex or heavily customized themes are custom quoted.

Rush delivery

+$2,000 added to the fix, $3,250 in total

Delivery within 2 business days. Standard themes only, subject to availability, confirmed on the quote.

Monthly monitoring

Timing

• Free theme scan: reply within 1 business day.
• Complex theme quote: within 2 business days.
• Standard fix: Usually 5 business days from payment and theme collaborator access. Every quote states an estimated delivery date. The clock pauses for client or vendor delays.
• Rush: within 2 business days, standard themes only, subject to availability, confirmed on the quote.
• Feedback: One feedback round is included (client replies within 5 business days).

Included in every fix

1. All work done on an unpublished duplicate copy of your theme (zero live-store downtime).
2. Technical remediation of the theme code barriers cited in your complaint or found in our scan.
3. A final re-test included: automated axe-core checks plus a manual keyboard and screen reader check of the key shopping flow.
4. A ready-to-publish Shopify accessibility statement page.
5. A technical remediation and allegation mapping report for your lawyer, matching each allegation to the exact .liquid change.

Monitoring ($250 a month)

• Monthly scan within the first 5 business days of the month.
• Regression fixes within 5 business days.
• Email replies within 1 business day.
• Cancel any time, effective at the next billing date.

Refund

1. Full refund if we cannot start or deliver.
2. If the final re-test still finds critical or serious issues in theme code we can change, we fix them free or refund the fix.
3. Claims within 30 days of delivery.

What is excluded and what we do not promise

• Third-party Shopify apps (widgets injected by outside vendors)

Third-party app code runs on the vendor’s servers, outside your theme, so it is outside our fix and our refund. If an allegation points at a third-party app widget (a reviews carousel, a popup, a subscription box), the report names the app where we can identify it, records what we could isolate or switch off in the copy of the theme to confirm the source, and keeps those items apart from the theme-code fixes, so it is clear which parts belong to the vendor. We recommend a ticket to the vendor and, where possible, reduce the impact with CSS or ARIA overrides in your theme.

Client confidentiality

We never publish a client’s store name, web address or screenshot. Results shown on this site are anonymized, and your store is not named or shown in any of our public material.

What we need from you

• Payment in full upfront for the fixed-price fix.
• Access to your theme. To work on a copy of your theme, we request Shopify collaborator access limited to the Themes permission (plus Pages, only if you ask us to set up your accessibility statement page). We never need your password, and we never request or receive access to your orders, customer list, payouts or financial settings.
• Replies within 5 business days during the feedback round. The clock pauses while we wait.
• You, not us, publish the fixed theme to your live store.
